The 2010 QSAC 5K was the organization's best yet. In a year of government budget cuts and increased cost of services, QSAC raised over $50,000 - a true feat as most other nonprofits struggle to raise funds via althetic events. "This is an event that could not happen without QSAC staff and families... It gets bigger every year," said Gary Maffei, CEO. "I express my heartfelt thanks to all the QSAC employees, their families and friends who ran the 5k and to everyone who made contributions to the runners/walkers."
Due to the overwhelming positive feedback, QSAC has already begun planning the 2011 race.
