QSAC is one of the five finalists in NYC for the Classy Awards' Best Use of Social Media. QSAC also nominated BGC as Philanthropist Business of the Year (if they win, the money comes to QSAC). At stake, $10,000 for each prize. This is only stage two in the game... Top in NYC will then compete on a national level... The judges have chosen, now it is up to America.

The CLASSY Awards is an awards competition recognizing the top philanthropic achievements by charities, businesses, and individuals in eight major cities nationwide: Boston, Chicago, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, New York City, San Diego, San Francisco, and Washington D.C. Starting October 9th, America will vote for one winner in each of the ten categories. The winners will be announced live during a Hollywood-esque award ceremony in San Diego, CA, similar in style to the Academy Awards, but philanthropy-inspired. Last year's award winners rappelled off buildings to raise money, started orphanages for abused and neglected children in Mexico, and built giant structures out of tens of thousands of cans to collect food donations. The entire event will be streamed live on NBC affiliates' websites in the participating cities.
